Nature-Positive Landscaping
Greener Practices For Healthier Ecosystems
Managing Landscapes With Nature In Mind
Every green space in the UAE is an opportunity to support local wildlife or to work against it. Our Nature-Positive Landscaping programme helps landscaping teams, supervisors, and environmental managers rethink maintenance as a tool for ecosystem health, not just visual upkeep. Over one hands-on day, participants learn to read the landscapes they manage as living systems: recognising breeding seasons, protecting habitat features, and using practices like natural mulching to enrich soil and support local food webs. Backed by bespoke, real-world training resources built for arid and urban environments, the programme builds lasting familiarity with the pollinators, birds, reptiles, and mammals that share our green spaces turning everyday landscaping decisions into a genuine force for biodiversity.

By the end of this course, participants will be able to:

Identify and protect key habitat features
Use organic practices to enrich soil and support food webs
Weigh how irrigation, pruning, and pesticide use affect local wildlife
Recognise native pollinators, birds, reptiles, and mammals
