Hundred Hives
Terra’s pollinator journey built for every school
A Pioneering Program
This initiative stands out as the first structured school-based beekeeping program, training both students and teachers in the art of beekeeping, with the added support of ongoing expert guidance from Terra.
Every school can now take part in pollinator education and action regardless of budget, space, or staffing capacity.
A tiered pathway lets schools start small and grow at their own pace, with a clear route to becoming a 100 Hives Certified Pollinator School:
Pollinator Programme: Bee keeping introductory experiences for both students and educators
Pollinator-Friendly School: Schools deepening engagement for readiness to install their first hive
100 Hives Certified School: Fully certified three-year partnership for schools with on going trainings and community events. Apiary installation with regular check-ins and dedicated consultation among other deliverables.

Why Schools Should Sign Up
100 Hives gives schools a credible, evidenced way to act on sustainability and not just talk about it.
Measurable ESG impact :Real biodiversity data (hive health, pollinator counts, honey yield) you can report to your board, parents, and accreditors.
An outdoor classroom, extended: Turn your grounds into a living lab, with science and sustainability taught through real fieldwork.
Public relations & community standing: Media-ready storytelling that sets your school apart to prospective parents.
Curriculum enrichment: Ready-made, curriculum-linked workshops across biology, environmental science and enterprise, with minimal teacher prep.
National & global alignment: Direct ties to the UAE National Biodiversity Strategy 2031, UAE Net Zero 2050, UN SDG 15 (Life on Land), and the UN Decade on Ecosystem Restoration.
There's no wrong door, every school can start today, at whatever level fits their budget, space and staff capacity.
