City Nature Challenge Dubai

Over four days in April 2026, Dubai took part in the world's largest city-led nature discovery movement for the second year running. From city streets to wetlands, neighbourhood parks to desert landscapes, residents headed outside to find, photograph and record the wildlife living alongside us.

The result was a snapshot of a city far richer in nature than most people realise, and a growing community of residents helping to document it.

The City Nature Challenge Dubai is led by Terra at Expo City Dubai as part of a global citizen science movement taking place in hundreds of cities around the world. A global movement. A local story. Real impact.
