Transform your style and embrace circular living on Saturday, 8 August at the Upcycle & Make Workshop, hosted in an exciting collaboration with Thrift for Good at Terra.
Guided by expert makers, this creative, air-conditioned indoor session teaches you how to reduce textile waste by reimagining pre-loved denim into a unique, wearable piece of art. You’ll learn simple styling techniques to extend the life of your clothing using buttons, patches, broken jewelry, beads, and vibrant fabric embellishments.
Whether you want to repair a well-loved favorite or completely customize a new look, all premium tools and materials are fully provided.
What to bring: Participants are highly encouraged to bring their own old denim garments to work on. Don't have one? Don't worry! Choose a donated second-hand denim jacket from Thrift for Good for an additional AED 50 and give it a new life through upcycling.
It is the perfect weekend escape to learn sustainable fashion skills and walk away with a truly personalized, custom wardrobe piece.
